AUSKICK 2010 
Hello Auskickers
Welcome to season 2009. We had a
club registration two weeks ago and welcomed many new members to the club. Some
people couldn’t make it or didn’t know about it but don’t worry. We are having
another registration night just for auskickers on Thursday 2nd April, from
5-7pm.
The backpacks are supposed to
arrive on the 18th March so if all goes well you can collect them on
rego night. This year there is a pay on line facility which we would encourage
you to use, otherwise you can pay on the night.
This year parent helpers are
required to have working with children checks so we are hoping to have someone
from Australia post there on 2nd April to help with this. The only cost is $13
for passport photos (we only need 1 photo so you keep the other 3). I have
attached a doc showing the paperwork you need to bring on the night to arrange
this. In other years we have been very lucky with our parent support, so I hope
this doesn’t deter people from volunteering. The working with children check is
valid for 5 years, so you will be able to use it for other things such as school
helper, coaching etc.
The club are organising St Mary’s
jumpers for purchase which will be available on rego night also. The cost for
this year’s Auskick is $55.00 which includes the backpack and social club
membership.
Our season will officially
commence on Friday 24th April (First Friday after School Holiday’s)
from 5-6pm we will have hotdogs available for purchase $1.00 @. If your child
has any medical problems esp. Asthma please provide us with the necessary
information to care for your child in the event of Illness i.e. Asthma
management plan.

2008 U/12 - LEAGUE B&F 
Congratulations
to Joe Maishman who took out the Newtown Little
League U/12 Best & Fairest award. Joe has now made
it back to back awards, after last year winning the
U/11 league B&F.
