This year we have introduced a new feature to the Footy Tipping competition. The online software allows you to enter or change your tips online. You can also study the form of the teams and compare results from the past 10 years of matches. Anyone entering the competition will be allocated a username and password to use these facilities. If you don't know what yours is please e-mail stmary_fc_geelong@bigpond.com to find out. Click the link above to enter the tipping web-site.

Please Note:

For a $50 entry fee there is an amazing first prize of $6,000 while the runner up receives $1,000 and third place is $500. As quarterly incentive,  the person who has tipped the most winners between rounds 1-6, 7-12, 13-17 and 18-22 eligible for a $500 prize. Plus there are weekly prizes of $100 for 8 winners or $25 for 8 losers that jackpots until claimed. So if you think you are an expert tipper, there is no excuses for not joining in the fun.

Tips can be placed directly via the tipping database on this website, Fax, Telephone (between 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Fridays) or you can drop them into a special mailbox at the clubrooms. 

 

Rules of the Competition:

  • Selections must be in by 7:30pm on the Friday night prior to the round or entry receives the away teams for their selections. (a time stamp placed on entries placed via the web-site from an external server).

  • Any games played in a round prior to the Friday 7:30 cut-off time will be given as wins.

  • Round 12 is a split round and tips will be taken for the first five games on Friday June 12th and the second three games on Friday June 19th then added together to give your total for round 12.

  • A draw cannot be chosen and in the event of a draw no points are awarded.

  • Competition finishes at the end of the home and away season.

  • If more than one person finishes on top at the end of the season, then they would share the first prize for the placing's they hold. Eg. if three people finish equal first then they would share the prize money for first, second and third This holds also for the most winners in each of the four lots of grouped rounds. The weekly winners of $100 or $25 is in the form of a raffle for anyone who selects all winners/losers for that round drawn on the Friday night in the rooms prior to the next round. If no-one selects all winners/losers the weekly prize jackpots.

  • All scores are clearly displayed in the main window of the clubrooms or via this web-site each week (by clicking the results link above).

  • In all cases the judges decision will be final.

  • Directly via the tipping database on this website

  • Telephone (between 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Fridays) 03 5221 6779

  • Drop them into a special mailbox at the clubrooms, your name and winners is all that is required

  • You may fax your tips each week prior to 7:00pm Friday before each round on 5221 6838.

  • You may place your tips in personally to the clubrooms in LaTrobe Tce they will be open each Friday evening at 5pm until 7:30 the Bar will also be open during these times.
